this is my model http://www.google.com/products?hl=en%26amp;res鈥?/a>Does anyone know how to link up a wireless router?
First, plug your modem (cable or dsl) into the router using some ethernet cable. Once the power is on to both the modem and the router you can begin setting it up.
You can find a step by step guide here:

For setting up specific games and systems, visit:

Which is a great site for pretty much any and all router set up. It has step by step guides with pictures.
Good luck!Does anyone know how to link up a wireless router?
I rarely click on links, for safety reasons, but when you got the router was it new, or was it given to you?
If it was new it came with instructions. It probably also came with a CD with the software on it, and setup screens to follow.
If it was given to you, simply go to the manufacturers website and download the software and the instruction manual. Read the entire manual first, so you have a clear idea what to do, and don't get the steps mixed up.
Go slowly, read each step carefully, and don't get ahead of yourself. It really is not difficult to hook one up. Here are the basics:
Place the router next to your modem.
Unplug your modem. Take the RJ45 ethernet cable from your modem, and hook it into one of the ethernet ports on the router.
Next, take the RJ45 ethernet cable that came with the router, and plug it into the proper port on the back of the router, then plug the other end into the place on your modem where you unhooked the other cable from.
Now, plug the modem back in and wait for it to fully boot up.
After the modem fully boots up, and all the proper lights are whichever color they are suppose to be, usually green, now plug in your router, and wait for it to properly boot up.
Now, pop your CD into your computers CD player, wait for it to start the application, and follow each prompt and instruction. Depending upon your ISP, you may need to add information, and you may not need to add anything. If you do need to add information, such as a User Name and Password, you will need to aquire that from your ISP, either by phoning their tech department, or by looking on the paper work they left you.
Let the installation CD finish up, do whatever it says to do, and then when it says you are connected, open a browser instance and see if you can get Online. If so, you are done.
If you wish to use the wireless access point in your router you will need to setup the security. You do NOT want an unsecured wireless access point, where anyone in the area can jump onto your Internet connection and use up your bandwidth. Instructions for doing so should be in the package that came with your router, or look in the manual your downloaded from the manufacturers website. It is very easy to setup.
You setup security last.

Put in your correct model number here in order to be sent to the correct downloads. You will be given downloads for manuals, quick start guides, drivers, and firmware.
Here is some support from Microsoft on setting up a router:

Good luck and much fun with your new network. Once you setup the router, and follow the Microsoft article on getting it all working correctly, you can add your PS3 to the network by hooking it up either with wires, or wireless. I reccomend using wired connections.

The above link refers to an Xbox, but it is all extremely much the same. Game consoles have the same hookups, just as different manufacturers of DVD players, etc.
