How do i get my psp and ps3 online wireless?

i have a laptop with a internet via tmobile usb stick, when i search to go online my psp finds other points that have security numbers-and my ps3 cant find anything even tho there is an ethernet cable connecting it to my laptop!!!how can i access internet using my psp and ps3 so i can download updates and more???????How do i get my psp and ps3 online wireless?
all u need is wireless connection on ur come and get a modem for ur ps3 and then it should work.
