How do i go online with my ps3 ?

i have a ps3 and i want 2 play online with it but every time i try 2 do it , it says that there is no connection,but i do have WIFI in my house but i just don't no what 2 do

could any1 plz tell me how 2 go online plz ?

or is there a switch on the playsation to connect it ?How do i go online with my ps3 ?
Ok do this, Confirm that an Ethernet cable is not connected to the PS3 system.

Select Network Settings under Settings in the home menu.



Select [Internet Connection Settings].

Select [Yes] when a confirmation screen is displayed stating that you will be disconnected from the Internet.



Select [Easy].Select [Wireless].

Select [Scan].

A list of access points within the range of the PS3 system is displayed.



Depending on the model of PS3 system in use, you may have the option [Automatic]. Select [Automatic] when using an access point that supports automatic setup. If you follow the on-screen instructions, the necessary settings will be completed automatically.

Select the access point that you want to use. i.e your router.



enter the encryption key wep usually found on base of router or open up the page to your router it will be in wireless settings.



Once your up %26amp; running Sign up to playstation network,Just basically fill in a form ; )

Only, you may have to move your ps3 nearer to your wireless connection, the antennae is pretty rubbish on the ps3 sometimes !

do you have a router ??? if not you can get one for like $15.00

Also did you create a account

and if you created a account and have a router go to settings and then network settings and check every thing

First you go to settings on the main menu and you select network settings then you uuh...click on connect or something and folow the wizard
you need to type in a ip address and then go to playstation store and sign up there
