Have online access with pc's but PS3 won't go online with it while wired directly. Its a SB5100 surfboard cable modem from motorolla. Always get a communication error with it. PS3 had been online before with other modems and random set ups. Any hints or advice will be appreciated.

im not sure how to fix yours but my setup is my ps3 and an ethernet cord plugged in to the back of my linksys router and ive had no problems
