Im a noob!! how do i play my ps3 online?!?!?

Ok, this may sound stupid, but i just hooked up my ps3 to the internet via my wireless connection. So i created a screenname or whatever and i logged into the ';Network';. So now i am in the ';Central plaza'; and am just walking around! I have metal gear solid 4. Ist ps3 online where i can go into some sort of ';room'; and play with others. Please help! Where do i go to play? Does it cost money?Im a noob!! how do i play my ps3 online?!?!?
You could start by asking in the playstation section not the pc section.



You are indeed wandering around in Home. Doesn't it suck how you can't shoot anyone in Home? You can't even jump, or walk on the grass, or anything. All you can do is walk around and talk to people.



Don't bother with Home anymore, most of us ps3 owners hate it. There are portals to start games of Warhawk, but in general to get online in a game, start the game.



Hit the PS button and quit Home, then start up MGS4, and you'll see the online options there.



When your sick of MGS online, go to the Playstation Store and browse through the demos. Many of them have online options.



Also, go to playstation.com and run a search on ';MAG beta code'; and you'll find a thread with a link to free codes for the Massive Action Game beta test. It ends soon, so hurry. It takes forever to download, but it is a good online frenzy, unfortunately hardly anyone knows what they're doing since it's a beta and there's no in-game instructions.Im a noob!! how do i play my ps3 online?!?!?
start the game as if you were playing offline, and there should be an option to play online on the game's main menu screen.
bro. you playing Myhome or somthing like that. to get online to MGS4 you start the game metal gear solid 4 (run the CD) then you should see somthing thats like ';METAL GEAR SOLID ONLINE'; pres on that and then u have to make a acount with kunami which is a little complicated and should take 5-10 minutes. then you should be able to play online with MGS4. and yes its free. unlike the god damn xbox with their LIVE you have to pay for (BS)
