I am needing help with the PS3 i might get for my son.

alright so first of all do u want wired or wireless internet? i reccomend wired it's more dependable, if yur modem and where your gonna setup the ps3 are close to each other then just get an ethernet splitter that u should be able to find at a bestbuy but thats for wired and the ethernet cord is included with the ps3 not very long though..now if u can't have wired just cause of where everything is placed then do wireless first u need a wireless router..again u can get that at bestbuy and thats about it for everyting u need to go online if u do buy it for him and still have troubles with setting up a network on the ps3 then email meHow Do I Go Online With The PS3? right when you buy the ps3 you get a ethernet cable use that to connect to somethink.

or if have a wireless router which that has a wireless connection built inside u connect to that.

to connect i hink you goto system settings.
An internet connection. Just call your cable service company and ask for internet. The ps3 has a port in the back for the ethernet cable that the cable router(internet thingie) plugs into. There's not much to it, just plug them all in and go.
