Ps3 dns problem!!?

hey their i have a netopia router and i am online with my ps3 through wired connection but i want wireless beacuse the wired is so bugging me anyway i typed in my ip address manually and the rest but when i went to test it it said dns error and some numbers how can i resolve this?Ps3 dns problem!!?
I used to have a PS3, but changed to an xbox 360, mainly because of the lack of wireless set up help it offers. If your ps3 is working with the wired cable keep it, there are advantages. Faster connect, No signal breaks, More reliable data transfer, No chance of hacking. Keep your wired cable. its alot easier.

You can also check your ip adress by going to ';run'; and typiing in cmd, and then the command prompt box should open, type in ';ipconfig'; and wait, it will bring up you active ip adress and subnet mask. :)Ps3 dns problem!!?
check the dns number on your computer, copy it and type it to your ps3.
