Whats better, ps3 versus xbox 360?

ok here we go, i'll start with xbox 360, yes it has so many games, but at the same time, there's only 4 or 5 people can actually name. it doesnt play blu ray and is slightly pixelated on non HD tv's. people say the online is so much better, but fail to explain how. if someone can, great 4 u. anyways, people say the xbox 360 has way more sales. DUHHH. it came out way b4 the ps3 and on christmas, and the price is way lower. xbox 360 has major overheating problems and the fan is so loud, u have to turn the volume up when it comes on. i have a friend who bought and xbox 360 and got the red ring two weeks after he bought it, then he got it repaired, got the red ring a day after it was fixed. theres more but i'll leave it at that

PS3

sure the online lags a little bit, overall we all know its the superior system. it may not have all the games in the world, but people can actually name most of em, the fan is dead silent and has no overheating problems. it also has internet browser (which is kinda uneccesary) but is an attractive feature. it has playstation home, which is fun. and i'll mention it looks a lot more montserous than the xbox 360. theres more to say but my fingers r wearing out. so there u have it.

I have both sytems and am an expert at both so u cant school me on anythingWhats better, ps3 versus xbox 360?
The Xbox 360 is subject to a number of technical problems. Since the console's release in 2005, users have reported concerns over its reliability and failure rate.[120][121][122]

To aid customers with defective consoles, Microsoft has extended the Xbox 360's manufacturer's warranty to three years for hardware failure problems that generate a ';General Hardware Failure'; error report. A ';General Hardware Failure'; is recognized by three quadrants of the ring around the power button flashing red. This error is often known as the ';Red Ring of Death';.[123] The warranty extension is not granted for any other types of failures that do not generate this specific error code.

Since these problems surfaced, Microsoft has attempted to modify the console to improve its reliability. Modifications include a reduction in the number, size, and placement of components, the addition of dabs of epoxy on the corners and edges of the CPU and GPU as glue to prevent movement relative to the board during heat expansion,[124] and a second GPU heatsink to dissipate more heat.[125] It is unclear whether these modifications have only been added to new consoles or if they have also been added to consoles repaired by Microsoft and authorized repair centers.[125]Whats better, ps3 versus xbox 360?
the 360, that only thing that PS3 really has on it is the bluray player also with the xbox 360 think about halo, halo 2,halo 3,halo wars, and halo ODST. Also the multiplayre is way better (why do you think you have to pay for it.)
I prefer the 360. Its way better for playing with friends. The online community is large. The controller is also better in my opinion. Expecially for FPS's because of the trigger-like features. Mine hardly ever overheats and never freezes.
Sounds like you answered your own question. You also seem like someone who can't be swayed in an argument so I'm not going to bother trying I'll just say, Xbox 360.

Congratulations to you.
i have both too

and in my experience ps3 is better

because it has

free online

internet

in my opinion it has better graphics

less games but i like their games better

no complaints

no red rings

more games for my taster

(army games ,metal gear, gta even though xbox 360 has saints row which is cool, and madden is better to me.)

but xbox360

online is better if you use a lan line

because you have to pay for a router which is like 60-70 dollars

and you have to sign up for it and that adds up to be the total price of a 40g ps3

people don't even realize how much they are spending a xbox 360 if you want live.but xbox does have more games which helps me when im bored
