Has anyone had problems with the Linksys WRT54G2 wireless router when hooking it up to the PS3?

I recently bought a Linksys WRT54G2 router because I want to play PS3 games online. I would hook it up only to the PS3; however, I heard that there are major problems, mostly concerning connectivity, with the router. I heard that many people lose internet connection and log out frequently and randomly. My questions are:



1. Has this ever happened to you? If so, please explain what happened and how you fixed it, if you were able to.



2. Would you recommend this router for online gaming?



3. If not, which router would be the best one for PS3 online gaming? I have a $100 budget.



4. Could I hook up any router directly to the PS3 and configure it using the PS3 network settings instead of having to go through the computer wizard on the router's CD on a different computer first?Has anyone had problems with the Linksys WRT54G2 wireless router when hooking it up to the PS3?
We seem to be having the same problem. Keep getting kicked off-line. Called Geek squad and all they did was give us a different IP address to enter in the pc. It did not help. All it updated to was 4% before it kicked off-line. Sounds like the same problem.
