The current versions of the Adobe and Javascript are usually downloaded via the latest PS3 system update. I believe the next one is due on the 14th
In the meantime you can use Flash enabled movie players to stream movies. I suggest going to the link below and trying a few movies. I find the ones that work best are on either Supernovatube or Megavideo
