How do I set up my PS3 for online play? I have a series of questions for people to answer.?

1. I can't seem to find the WEP key for my wireless linksys router.Where can I find it? On the box? If so, where on the box?



2. And also, if I can't use a normal wireless router for internet, do I have to get a wireless gaming router?



3. Does it cost anything to play online?



4. Once I get it going, do I just launch my game and start playing online with other people?

1.I don't think you need a WEP key all you need to do is go to Internet connection settings and go on to custom then on to wireless connecting then go on to scan then choose your router and just keep pressing right and skip through all the stuff until you get to test connection and after that your ready to go I should know I did it about 100 times.



2. you should be able to use any router.



3.No it is free all you need to do is make the account.

i can=]] no u dont need to buy anything to online game on the ps3 and if u already hav wireless internet then u should be good to go, u can find the wep code on maual/intrutions they gave u when u sucribed to there service and if u still cant find the code u should try calling the service u have and they should tell u with some verification, and if u want to online game on ps3 u have to make a ps3 network accout but it should be free.
