How do I set up a PS3 to go online wireless on Tiscali with a Siemens SE587 router?

Hello when i do i scan it finds my wifi router with 99% signal it lets me enter the WPA Key and it says exchanging key info then it says key timed out why is this i can connect to my laptop via my router fine ?How do I set up a PS3 to go online wireless on Tiscali with a Siemens SE587 router?
you sholdnt need to enter any numbers in manually.at least i never had to. do a scan first and see wot happens,do it while ur ps3 is wireless and when its plugged in via a ethernet cable. the only thing you will have to enter is ur wep key and you should know that. i have tiscali aswell and the same wireless modem and have had no probs connecting wirelessly and wired and have never had to mess with entering things manually.How do I set up a PS3 to go online wireless on Tiscali with a Siemens SE587 router?
I don't have the same router but I suspect it will be a similar set up. You need to go into the router settings by opening a web browser, I use Firefox, and typing 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. This should take you into the router set up, unless it is a different number with your system, if it is I would expect it to be with the router/tiscali manual. From there you can alter the permissions for devices that are found. I had to do this for mine and now it connects first time although it does time out sometimes when playing online. Hope this helps.
