How come every time I try to go online with my Ps3 I always get: DNS Error:80710102?

I am using a wired connection, have put everything in manually and it still doesn't work. My Ps3 Finds the Ip Address Just fine then while it is trying to find the internet connection it fails. I am getting closer because before It says internet connection failed and in about 15-25 seconds it says failed and before it said failed in less than 2 seconds. Please Help.

Also Please Don't say anything about the Xbox is better than Ps3 or Ps3 is better than Xbox.How come every time I try to go online with my Ps3 I always get: DNS Error:80710102?
I think I had a problem similar to that. If I remember right you need to setup your connection again to your PS3 and when it asks you about the DNS you need to manually enter these primary and secondary #'s

Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222

Second DNS:208.67.220.220

see if there's a firmware update for the router , open the recommended ports and check the routers firewall etc. for a block



call your isp support line
