How do you get online with a ps3? I hooked the cable into my ps3 that connects to my router and I still am not

When you plug in your cable, make sure your PlayStation 3 is off, and after you plug it in and turn it on, go to Network Configuration and try to get it to work there.



If that doesn't work, your router may be interfering with it and may have to configure the options to allow access to the PlayStation 3 through your computer.

try turning off your ps3.. then unplugging your router for a few minutes. Plug your router back in, wait a few minutes then turn your ps3 back on.. you should be able to connect then.
