I have Charter Communications as my cable and internet provider so I have a modem that has a cable input from which it receives the internet connection from. Please help me out with suggestions. My cable modem is out in the living room and I want to purchase a wireless modem but I'm unaware of how it works and if it is going to have problems with the fact that i don't hook up via phone line.How can i get online on my PS3?
If you get a wireless modem, you just have to create a network name and password and sign in on your PS3. Charter also provides router/modem combo's that are compatible with PS3. You don't need a phone line to do it.
