Hi, I want to go online with my ps3, but at the same time my brother wants to use his PC and go online. However we cannot do this because we use the ethernet cable from the DSL modem to go online.
How can we use our DSL, simultaneously would i need a wired? wireless router? thank for any helpHow can we use our DSL, simultaneously with my ps3, and PC?
You need to get a wireless router, after you get the router your brother could use a wired connection and you could use the ps3. If you brother also wanted to use a wireless connection he would need to pick up an adapter for his computer. How can we use our DSL, simultaneously with my ps3, and PC?
A router. Wireless if you wanted to connect the computer or PS3 (or both) without wires, wired if you'll never use wireless. (The Linksys WRT54 series, which is about the best out there in a G router [and an N router will be overkill for at least 5 or 10 years] is about $50, and it's both wired and wireless. You can get one at Walmart.)
