If I get a wireless dongle for my ps3 will it still work to go online gaming etc?

I already play tiger woods 10 online at home with my wireless router but Im going away to stay in hotel next month and wondered if connecting my ps3 to a dongle would work ( like when you use a dongle with a laptop) , is this possible and how? thanks guys :)If I get a wireless dongle for my ps3 will it still work to go online gaming etc?

yes it does work but its not as simple as plug-in and play.



first u need to connect your laptop to your ps3 via an ethernet cable plug your dongle into your laptop.

then connect.

when it has connected you need to go to your laptops network connection settings search for the dongle go into its settings a find the option to share connection.

once that is activated u just go to ur ps3 connection settings a select wired connection then just continue as normal.



it sounds confusing but if u can tell me which network your dongle is (i'm on 3) then i could giv u a proper tutorial.
