How do i connecting my ps3 to my router witch i think is wireless unless there are slots in the back.?

or a betterway is to not use my router if possible.i am really wanting to go online with my ps3 and i want all of your opions.i allready got one of yours and it was helpfull.

if you go to network settings then you can scan for your wireless router, but your wireless router may be password protected so you would have to program the router to identify your PS3 by putting in the serial number and setting it up on your PS3. Also you can hook the ethernet cable up from the back of your PS3 to your router.How do i connecting my ps3 to my router witch i think is wireless unless there are slots in the back.?
