I need help getting online with my Ps3?

I tried going online on my Ps3 today and i know it hasn't worked in a while, but i thought i might give it a go. It used to work so I know its not my connection. But when I try to sign into PSN error code 80710723 came up, so i looked it up and found a website that told me to disable UPnP, so i did and I just got error code 80711008 when i tried to sign in.



On the Connection test it says:



Connection test completed.



Obtain IP Address Succeeded

Internet Connection Succeeded

PlayStation Network -

UPnP -

NAT Type -





A system software update is required Go to [Settings] and perform [System Update]



Thats exactly what it says. I dont know if PSN is down or its just me. I have checked the PlayStation site but I still have no clue what to do about it. Im sure before Playstation Network used to say Succeeded aswell ? Im also using a Windows Vista Laptop with an Ethernet Cable.



I heard Vista's are a pain, anybody here use a Vista and how do you get online with it ? Thanks for your time.I need help getting online with my Ps3?
try changing you dns settings,this is for a wired connection.before you change your dns wright down the old numbers 1st so you can input them back if they don't work.

Try changing your NAT Type to 2 = NAT 2
