You have a Verizon air card modem with no computer? The card needs drivers to work properly, it won't work standalone on something like a ps3. You could set it up on a computer then share the computer's connection. Then you would be able to connect your ps3 through your computer's Internet connection through the Verizon air card.
Even if you could get it connected, a Verizon air card or the MiFi adapter is a 3G modem. You don't get much bandwidth with it and you're usually limited on how much data you can transfer per month before you start paying per megabyte. You would have a horrible connection with your ps3 and would use up your monthly allowance in about 3 minutes.
