PS3 Call of Duty 4.....what is my husband doing?

My hubby is playing this game through the PS3 online and idiots( his friends ) are yapping smack through the TV and possibly strangers too. Can you explain to me what is going on? He's too busy.



Is he hooked up with x amount of friends and then strangers fill up the other spots? Are the strangers friends with each other? How many spots are there? Is it every man for himself?



Can each person hear what our friend says? (or us if we had a mic?PS3 Call of Duty 4.....what is my husband doing?
When you enter a game, you can invite your friends to join(if you have any registered on your PS3) and then it will randomly stick others in to fill the slots. Some of them could be friends, some could not have any clue who everyone else is. I think the most you can have in one game is 40(I could be wrong though). You can play on teams, or play every man for himself, it just depends on what the person playing the game chooses to enter.



If you have a headset thing, you just change the settings on your PS3 and you won't hear it from the TV anymore, it will come through the headset. It's much less annoying that way, lol.PS3 Call of Duty 4.....what is my husband doing?
they can all be friends or they can all be strangers. its random. and if you dont have a headset on then you will hear others through your tv. if you use a headset the voices will go away. its a fun game though
yeah its fun for everyone on there to start talking smack that is when I usually put in my mp3 player and mute the tv. they can all be friends or strangers it is totally random and if everyone has mic's it makes for a loud confusing mess lol.
Call of duty 4 uses a matchmaking system that will put you with players from all over the world but you can also join a room with just your friends as well



IF you do not have a mic all of the players with them voices will come out of the TV if you had a mic the voice would only go through the mic. and every1 else can hear u



They are many different types of games most involve a team but a few are everyman for them self
