Why is my internet SO SLOWWW?

I have the telstre home wirless router thing which gives us wirless internet. We pay 60 bucks a month (half price from $120) and the internet only lasts for like 5 days before it goes slow again. I think we get 6GB Download data and then once thats used up it goes down to 156kb? (But i have no idea if thats right). Telstra say thats the best possible deal they offer for wirless. My friend has a Cheaper deal and he says his never runs out.



I don't realy do much with the internet when it comes to downloading but i do play alot of online Ps3. And download a few songs now and then. Is there a problem with my internet? If so how can i fix it? and how could i make it faster?Why is my internet SO SLOWWW?
You can use ccleaner and restart PC to clean up system and try OpenDNS or SecureDNS.

The Internet can slow down when there is a lot of users in your area using the same ISP you are, but this would not account for slow downs every 5 days or so, unless there are more users on a Sat or Sun in your area. I would call your Internet Provider and ask for a Service Technician to go over your set up with you and check it out...Why is my internet SO SLOWWW?
if it's dial-up, its supposed to be. if its dsl, it should load your My Yahoo! page after 3 seconds or less. if its cable high speed, it should load pretty much immediately.
